Apple has been around us for as long as I remember. The company has been the leading innovator of our era, even after the death of Steve Jobs, Apple's founder and the genius that was kicked out of his own company. Apple has been in the hands of the heir of Steve Jobs, Tim Cook, who has been considered one of the world's best CEOs. The company has been dominating in terms of total market cap, as well as the number of products sold. It has not only been revolutionizing our daily lives, but the brand has become the symbol of this era's culture.

Apple has not always been in the range of success they are in today. Although it is unarguable that Apple's initial success with Apple 2 and its follow-up products including the iMac has allowed computers to become easily accessible to ordinary consumers, the company also had periods when they were on the verge of going bankrupt. But with the invention of Apple's iPhone and iPod in the 2000s, the company achieved a dramatic turnaround in Steve Jobs' early 40s. His philosophy was to make a product that has a simple but fashionable design. Steve Jobs' was already known well for implementing these philosophies to his products, as he even applied it to his own fashion by wearing his trademark combination of a black turtleneck with blue jeans. Apple was also able to revolutionize marketing and advertisements. Instead of trying to explicitly show the audience their products' functions, they 'made' people want to know more about their product. With the combination of a fast-paced video of their product, as well as a trendy song that attracts viewers, customers looked for their product, making a self-sustaining business product. The iPhone was followed by the products including iPod, iMac, iPad, Macbook, and many more.
After Steve Jobs' death, Tim Cook followed his legacy in leading the company to success. Apple's value has skyrocketed, being worth more than 10 times it was when Steve Jobs was alive. Their series of products continued, as they expanded further into the industry, releasing products like the AirPods that have once again shocked the world. The company has survived its critics and hardships throughout the years, including the lack of innovation in the function of its products, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Now Apple is seeking to continue its success and domination in the world, as well as expand its industry into areas such as automobiles and digital technology.
As a high school student who is aware of the opinions of the younger generation, it is quite easy to see why Apple is the most valuable brand in the world. Apple's products have become the symbol of the innovation of this era and are the trendsetter of our generation. Apple has become a part of this era's culture, and its products have been trending worldwide with their fashionable but simple design. People desire to bring Apple's products to their everyday lives, as it is able to show each person's personality without excessiveness. The most prominent examples include AirPods and the Apple Watch, both providing good quality functions but also a design that seems to attract others. A day without their product is unimaginable at this point, and it is expected that Apple will continue to expand its franchise to solidify its dominance as the greatest brand of this era.
